Meet Zoe

TX License #103365

Originally from Madison WI, now a new home owner and resident of Fort Worth TX. Proud Navy Veteran Chief with 10 years of active duty experience, trained as an Aviation Electronics Technician, with a specialization in Metrology and Calibration.

As a leader in the military I found there was no way to succeed without acknowledging and caring for the struggles and difficult situations that my Sailors were facing in their personal lives. Helping them navigate relationships, career goals, physical set-backs, and the constant change associated with the active duty lifestyle became a full time job and rewarding skill set. Though I was always interested in mental health and human behavior, these experiences were the catalyst that started me on my path toward becoming a licensed counselor. Graduate of University of San Diego, California, I earned my MA in Clinical Mental Health & Counseling and have deeply enjoyed helping others return to their personal sense of normalcy while feeling confident and prepared for new life challenges.

I use Evidence Based Therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and other integrated therapeutic modalities to individuals and couples work through issues concerning interpersonal communication, anxiety, depression, PTSD and Trauma, substance use, loss of identity, and more.

In my off time you could find me tackling DIY projects, doing yoga, planning a camping trip, hiking, drawing, singing, and stand up comedy (viewing not doing) or pursuing a myriad of new learning adventures like woodworking or residential construction certification.
