Hello!

My journey to becoming a professional counselor began in my teenage years, when I became deeply curious about the “why” behind my own mental health struggles. That curiosity sparked a lasting fascination with the human mind and the field of psychology. I went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, with a clear calling to work with children. I later completed my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Tarleton State University.

During graduate training, I interned at a nonprofit organization where I worked with individuals ranging in age from 3 to 50. During this time, I received training in Child-Centered Play Therapy—a modality that emphasizes the therapeutic relationship and the creation of a safe, supportive environment where children can thrive and work toward their goals.

I have a special interest in supporting children and teens experiencing emotional dysregulation, executive dysfunction, social skills challenges, ADHD, and anxiety.

I also work with adults navigating self-esteem issues, relationship concerns, life transitions, and personal growth.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in Person-Centered Theory; I strive to offer every client a space of unconditional positive regard, empathy, and warmth. I also integrate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, expressive arts, and Adlerian concepts to tailor treatment to each individual’s needs. My goal is always to meet clients where they are.

As a human outside the therapy room, I enjoy being in nature (when the Texas weather allows it!), spending quality time with friends, crafting and creating art, getting lost in a good fiction series, and—yes—obsessively analyzing Taylor Swift lyrics. I also love spending time with my fiancé, whether we’re binge watching a new limited series, exploring new places, or working in the yard at our home.
