Growing up in Florida I was always the “counselor” friend that everyone came to vent to  because I was able to look at every situation from a new perspective. I received my  bachelor’s in psychology at Florida State University in 2016 and graduated with my  master’s in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University in 2023. During my last year of  grad school, I worked at Capital Area Counseling in Austin, Tx. I found the experience  rewarding and rich with connection, learning and growth not only from my clients but also  for myself.

I thoroughly enjoy getting to know each one of my clients while learning and being a part of  the creation of their stories. With a solution-focused and person-centered approach, I  prioritize authenticity, not only from my clients, but also from myself. I feel authenticity is  the foundation for a strong relationship between client and therapist which leads to trust,  respect and allows for true work and healing to begin. A tool I love to use is humor because  it can help foster a strong foundation between client and counselor, also who doesn’t love  to laugh?

I work with individuals 18 and over dealing with depression, anxiety, life-transitions, career  changes, grief and relationship concerns. I am also LGBTQIA+ allied.

When I’m away from the office you can usually catch me playing video games with friends  online, hanging at my sister’s house playing with my nephew, or just staying home and  watching bad Hallmark movies and analyzing them with my mom and my 2 cats.
